Biography

Arash July received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tehran, Iran, in 2017, and an M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (Technical University of Milan), Italy, in 2020. He has been working as an R&D engineer at Hitachi Energy in Genoa, Italy, from 2021 to 2023. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. degree at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in Ballerup, Denmark. His research focuses on Offshore Wind Farms, Energy Islands, Control of Power Electronic Converters, HVDC, MVDC technologies, and Stability Analysis in Power Electronic Dominated Power Systems. In addition to his research, he is involved in teaching as a teaching assistant for subjects such as Applied Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics Energy Systems, and Electrical Energy System Project.
