Dr. Ari Damla

Biography

Ari Damla, MD, is an Assistant Professor at the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine at Boston University, where he also serves as an Attending Radiologist at Boston Medical Center in the division of Musculoskeletal Radiology. Dr. Damla completed his MD at the University of Limerick and holds a BSc from the University of Toronto. Following his medical education, he underwent fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, completing this training in 2022. He has a strong focus on clinical education, serving as the Clerkship Director for Longitudinal Radiology Medical Education at Boston University, where he is dedicated to shaping the next generation of radiologists. His research interests include Sports Trauma Imaging, Rheumatologic Imaging, and Musculoskeletal Interventions. Dr. Damla is a co-author of a book chapter on foot and ankle interventions. He advocates for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within the medical community and emphasizes the importance of diverse perspectives in providing compassionate, culturally competent care. He is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all individuals are valued and strives to deepen his understanding of cultural competency to ensure equitable healthcare delivery.
