Biography

Dr. Meguerditchian’s clinical practice focuses on surgical oncology, particularly breast cancer and melanoma. As the Scientific Director at St. Mary’s Research Centre, he leads a Clinical Health Informatics Research Group at the McGill University Health Centre. His research centers on utilizing health informatics technology to integrate various clinical, service, and competency data to enhance cancer care delivery for patient populations. Dr. Meguerditchian holds an MD from Université de Montréal and an MSc in Biomedical Sciences. He completed a surgical oncology fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York. At McGill, Dr. Meguerditchian is an active member of the Department of Oncology Leadership Committee and the General Surgery Competence Committee. He is also the founder and chair of the Melanoma Multisite Multidisciplinary Tumor Conference and serves on several oncology advisory boards with Québec’s Institut national d’excellence en santé et services sociaux. In 2022, he published a work titled 'La récidive: le cancer à travers les yeux d'une patiente et de son médecin', co-written with journalist Marie-Éve Morasse.
