Dr. Ariadna Forray

Biography

Ariadna Forray received a B.A. in Biology with a focus on Neuroscience from Bryn Mawr College and an M.D. from Harvard Medical School. She completed her residency in Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine and is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Forray is a leading expert in reproductive psychiatry, particularly in the treatment of pregnant and postpartum women with substance use disorders. She serves as the Director of the Center for Wellbeing for Women and Mothers and has been the principal investigator and co-investigator on numerous federally funded grants aimed at developing and implementing treatment interventions. Her research focuses on addressing the lack of effective treatments for psychiatric disorders during the perinatal period, exploring topics such as the impact of anxiety disorders during pregnancy and the role of reproductive hormones on psychiatric conditions. Dr. Forray also collaborates on several clinical trials investigating novel interventions for opioid use disorder among pregnant women.
