Biography

Arika Ligmann-Zielinska received her doctoral degree from the Joint Doctoral Program in Geography at San Diego State University and the University of California Santa Barbara in 2008. Specifically, she employs agent-based models in computational laboratories, enabling the exploration of scenario building and the characteristics of complex system interrelationships between societies and landscapes.
