Biography

Arlene John is an Assistant Professor in the Biomedical Signals Systems (BSS) group at the University of Twente. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut, India, in 2017. Her research interests cover explainable AI, multisensor data fusion, biomedical signal processing, and modeling. She aims to influence sustainable and equitable digital healthcare through her work, bridging the gap between explainable artificial intelligence and life sciences.
