Biography

Arman Sabbaghi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics at Purdue University, specializing in Bayesian data analysis and causal inference among other areas. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Statistics from Purdue University and Mathematics with Honors from the same institution, followed by a master's and Ph.D. in Statistics from Harvard University. His expertise extends to clinical drug development, data science, and statistical process quality control, reflecting a comprehensive grasp of both theoretical and practical aspects of statistics. Over the years, Sabbaghi has made significant contributions to the field, earning several awards for his research and teaching, including the Trask Innovation Fund Award and the Department of Statistics Outstanding Assistant Professor Teaching Award.
