Arno W. Hoes studied Medicine at Radboud University Nijmegen and obtained his PhD degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam with a thesis focused on the sudden cardiac death as a side effect of diuretics in hypertension. His main research topics include the prevention of cardiovascular diseases and early diagnosis.
