Biography

Professor Arnold Schneider teaches and conducts research in auditing, cost, and managerial accounting. He received his PhD from The Ohio State University and has held visiting faculty positions at Macquarie University in Australia, Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China, and Emory University. His teaching areas include Managerial Accounting and Financial Accounting, with a commitment to making his courses both informative and rigorous. His main research interests involve the effects of auditor judgment on accounting issues pertinent to commercial lending and investment decisions.
