Biography

Arpita Sengupta is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Dalhousie University. She received her MD from the Northern Ontario School of Medicine and holds a PhD in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from Dalhousie University. Her research interests include Stereotactic Radiotherapy, Radiosensitivity, and NSCLC in vitro models. She is involved in curriculum development in both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. Dr. Sengupta has published several articles in prominent medical journals, contributing to the field of radiation oncology and patient care. She has clinical experience, completing a fellowship in Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy (SABR) for Breast Cancer.
