Biography

Artemis Panigyraki holds a PhD in Marketing from Imperial College Business School, completed in September 2020. Her dissertation utilized experimental research design to examine the consumer suspicion decision-making process concerning numerical brand claims. Previously, she earned an MSc in Economics with honors from Erasmus School of Economics in Rotterdam in September 2013, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Athens University of Economics and Business in September 2011. Artemis has teaching experience spanning from 2014 to 2021 at renowned institutions including Imperial College Business School and the London School of Economics, and she has actively participated in various academic programs across undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her teaching courses have included Marketing Management as part of the EMBA Program, where she received recognition as an outstanding Teaching Assistant in 2019. Her active research areas encompass consumer behavior, decision making, consumer suspicion, information processing, sustainability, and marketing communication message framing. Artemis has presented her work at numerous academic conferences and has contributed significantly to research projects, including a collaboration on enabling world-class UK entrepreneurship in a low-carbon economy. In addition to her academic contributions, she has interned at BBDO Advertising Agency in Greece.
