Professor Arvind K. Jain joined the Department of Finance at Concordia University in June 1990 after leaving Indiana University where he held a visiting position. His research interests encompass international banking, international finance, and corruption, with a special focus on the persistence of political corruption and the behavior of investor policy-makers. His past research includes papers on corruption, agency theory, debt crises, capital flight, international lending decisions by banks, and the impact of foreign debt on trade and commodity futures markets. His work has been published in several high-ranking academic journals, including the Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, and Journal of Economic Psychology, amongst others. Additionally, he has authored six books, including "Commodity Futures Markets Law Price" and "Understanding Political Corruption", and is involved with editorial boards of multiple academic journals within his field.
