Arvind Ravikumar is an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Austin's Hildebrand Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering. He co-directs the Energy Emissions Modeling Data Lab and focuses on solutions for effective climate action in the global energy sector. His research is centered on developing technical and social policy solutions addressing climate issues, particularly in the oil and gas industry. Dr. Ravikumar's work encompasses methane emissions, energy sustainability, and life cycle assessments of energy systems. He has published numerous studies on the implications of natural gas and the role of new technologies in reducing carbon footprints.
