Asger Bjørn Jørgensen received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Energy Engineering from Aalborg University, Denmark, in 2016 and 2019, respectively. He was a post-graduate student at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Australia in 2015 and served as a visiting researcher at the FREEDM Systems Center at North Carolina State University, USA, in 2018. His research focuses on power module packaging, wide bandgap power semiconductors, and digital design using multi-physics finite element simulation. He has received the European Power Electronics Drives Association Outstanding Young EPE Member Award in 2020 and has published a significant amount of research related to power electronics and sustainable development goals.
