Dr. Ashika Jain

Biography

Ashika Jain is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Emergency Medicine at NYU Langone Health. With a specialty in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Critical Care Surgery, she is dedicated to advancing the field through education, research, and clinical practice. Her passion lies in providing high-quality, patient-centered care, especially in trauma and critical care settings. Dr. Jain specializes in emergency medicine, trauma care, and emergency ultrasound, serving as the director of emergency trauma at NYU Langone. She has established a centralized resource for trauma care that continues to enhance patient outcomes and the educational experience for residents. Moreover, she worked closely with the Division of Emergency Medicine Simulation to create a comprehensive trauma simulation curriculum that has improved the skills of emergency medicine and surgery residents, as well as emergency nursing staff. Additionally, Dr. Jain developed a geriatric activation protocol, adopted by the NYU Langone system, to ensure high-quality geriatric trauma care. Her commitment to education and clinical excellence drives her effort to improve patient outcomes and advance practice in emergency medicine.
