Ashlee Paxton-Turner studies corporations and American democracy, with a focus on corporate governance and corporate participation in public debate. Before entering academia, Ashlee practiced law at Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., focusing on corporate law and business litigation. She has experience with M&A deals and public-company filings, and has worked on litigation matters at both the trial and appellate levels. In addition, Ashlee clerked for the Honorable Eduardo C. Robreno of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Honorable Carolyn Dineen King of the Fifth Circuit. During law school, she was also a Teach for America corps member, where she taught high school mathematics in Oxford, North Carolina.
