Ashley Chung-Fat-Yim joined the University of Manitoba as an Assistant Professor in January 2025. Prior to this, Ashley was a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Northwestern University. Her research program focuses on the cognitive consequences of learning, particularly the impact of bilingualism on executive function, language, emotion perception, and narrative transportation.
