Biography

Cowger is an award-winning fiction writer whose short fiction has appeared in numerous national and international literary journals. Her work has been thrice nominated for the prestigious Pushcart Prize. Additionally, her short story collection, 'Peter Came,' was awarded the Autumn House Press Fiction Prize. Cowger has published articles on children's literature, creative writing, and pedagogical theory. Her teaching experience spans introductory creative writing, fiction workshops, composition, technical writing, and literature courses.
