Dr. Ashley Rackow

Biography

Ashley Rackow is an Assistant Professor of Pathology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where she serves as the Director of Preanalytical Services, Co-Director of General Chemistry, and Co-Director of Point-of-Care Testing. She earned her PhD in Toxicology from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and completed a fellowship in Clinical Chemistry at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her work involves advanced methods in the quantification of drugs and the performance of tests for clinical decision-making. She is actively involved in research that focuses on improving regulatory compliance and enhancing diagnostic testing in emergency departments. Dr. Rackow’s recent publications address significant topics in laboratory medicine and point-of-care diagnostics, showcasing her expertise in analytical methods and clinical chemistry.
