Dr. Ashley Stark

Biography

Ashley Stark is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics-Neonatology at the University of Chicago. She completed her medical training at Georgetown University, where she earned her MD in 2018. Following her medical degree, she undertook a residency in Pediatrics, which she finished in 2021. Ashley further specialized by completing a fellowship in Neonatology in 2024. She has a solid educational background, having attained a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Tufts University in 2011 and a Bachelor's degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California at Davis in 2009. Her research interests primarily focus on Cytomegalovirus Infections, Neonatal Infectious Disease, and related transmission mechanisms. Throughout her career, she has been involved in various research projects and has a reputation for producing significant contributions to the field. Ashley continues to engage with the wider scientific community through her publications and collaborative efforts, aiming to advance the understanding of neonatal health issues.
