Biography

Asish Mukhopadhyay is a Professor in the School of Computer Science at the University of Windsor. He obtained his PhD from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, in 1984. His research encompasses various areas including algorithms, bioinformatics, geometric optimization, graph algorithms, and approximation algorithms. He has contributed significantly to the field through numerous publications and collaborative research efforts. His work often focuses on the intersection of theoretical computer science and practical applications, advancing knowledge in algorithm development and computational mathematics. Professor Mukhopadhyay remains actively involved in mentoring students and fostering academic growth within the department.
