Biography

Aslan Zorlu is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Human Geography, Planning and International Development Studies at the University of Amsterdam. He is also a research fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor in Bonn, Germany, and has collaborated with the Applied Microeconomics Research Unit at the University of Minho in Braga, Portugal, as well as the Life Course Centre at the University of Queensland in Australia. His areas of expertise include statistical methods, micro-econometrics, panel data analysis, the economics of migration, and residential mobility segregation. He has published numerous articles in reputable scholarly journals such as the Journal of Population Economics, Demography, Regional Studies, and the Journal of Housing Economics.
