In her current position, she works as a Project Controller, maintaining ongoing dialogue with researchers and providing financial advice related to their projects. Astrid assists with budgeting, re-budgeting, and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with grantors' requirements. Additionally, she serves as the Health Safety Representative within the Health Administration Center, where she is committed to promoting a healthy and safe work environment for employees. Her responsibilities also include identifying and reporting potential health and safety risks, as well as developing and implementing improvements to the workplace.
