Biography

Atila Alvandpour is a professor and the head of Integrated Circuits Systems Division at Linköping University. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Linköping University, Sweden, in 1995 and 1999, respectively. From 1999 to 2003, he worked as a senior research scientist at the Circuit Research Lab, Intel Corporation. In 2003, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering at Linköping University as a professor of VLSI design. He has served as the head of the Electronic Devices Division from 2004 to 2014 and has been the head of the Integrated Circuits Systems Division since 2014. Currently, he is the vice head of the department. His research interests include the design of integrated circuits and systems with a special focus on data converters, analog front-ends, sensor readout and data acquisition systems, energy-harvesting power management systems, RF frontends for multi-Gigabit/s radio transceivers, low-power wireless sensors, and multi-GHz digital circuits. Atila has published over 100 papers in international journals and conferences and holds 24 U.S. patents. He is a senior member of IEEE and has served on the technical program committees for several IEEE international conferences, including the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Conference and the European Solid-State Circuits Conference. He has also guest edited for the IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits.
