Biography

Audrey Gagnon is an assistant professor at the School of Political Studies at the University of Ottawa. She is affiliated with the Center for Research on Extremism at the University of Oslo and the Groupe de recherche sur les sociétés plurinationales. Her research primarily focuses on conceptions of national identity, far-right populist movements, and ethics. Gagnon is currently a co-editor of e-Extreme, the ECPR Extremism & Democracy Standing Group. She has received the FRQSC Relève Étoile Paul-Gérin-Lajoie prize for her empirical contributions, and her work has been published in Canadian Review of Sociology and Politique et Sociétés, receiving the Léon-Dion prize in 2018-2019.
