Auke Ijspeert is a full professor at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and the head of the Biorobotics Laboratory. He has produced influential publications in top-tier journals and has received multiple awards, including the prestigious IEEE Fellow title. Furthermore, Ijspeert has contributed significantly to the robotics community through editorial roles and by organizing international conferences.
