Dr. Aviv Barnoy

Biography

Aviv Barnoy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Media and Communication at Erasmus University Rotterdam. His research interests encompass a wide range of contemporary issues including trust, strategic communication, digitalization, artificial intelligence epistemology, and misinformation studies. Barnoy's interdisciplinary work incorporates philosophical theories and concepts to explore social phenomena. His research has been published in top-tier academic journals and he has presented at numerous international conferences. In addition to academic contributions, he engages with national media, providing insights and analyses that inform and shape public discourse. Barnoy actively collaborates with a variety of stakeholders including industry professionals, citizens, and regulators.
