Awad Ibrahim is a full professor at the Faculty of Education at the University of Ottawa, where he also serves as Vice-Provost for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusive Excellence. His research interests particularly focus on educational social foundations, curriculum, ethnography, applied linguistics, and the impact of Black popular culture and hip-hop in educational settings.
