His clinical research interests primarily involve optimizing outpatient management for patients with heart failure and reduced ejection fraction, specifically addressing rapid expansion of heart failure pharmacotherapy and challenges related to therapeutic inertia. Dr. Almufleh has published over 20 peer-reviewed articles, including involvement as a co-investigator in a large-scale randomized controlled trial published in the New England Journal of Medicine.
