Biography

Ayaz Qureshi is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Social and Political Science at the University of Edinburgh. He is a trained social anthropologist with significant experience in Pakistan, teaching anthropology at various institutions including the Lahore University of Management Sciences and the University of Sussex. His research primarily focuses on health, migration, and bureaucratic systems, with particular emphasis on sexual and reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, and the implications of migration on health outcomes. Qureshi has authored significant works in the fields of anthropology and public health, highlighting the intersection of bureaucracy, gender, and health issues in South Asian contexts.
