Dr. Aybars Tuncdogan

Biography

Aybars Tuncdogan is a Reader in Digital Innovation and Information Security at King's Business School, King's College London. He lectures on various topics including Digital Marketing, Web Technologies, Marketing Management, and Political Marketing in the Digital Age. His teaching portfolio also includes modules on Digital Consumer Behaviour and International Marketing Communications. Dr. Tuncdogan completed his PhD at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, following an MPhil in Business Research from the same institution, and a Bachelor’s degree from Earlham College, where he double-majored in Business Management and Computer Science. His research interests primarily include digital innovation, with a specific focus on collective innovation through crowdsourcing, AI automation, marketing's intersection with digital innovation, and protection mechanisms like information security and organizational secrecy. He has published extensively in reputable journals and contributed to significant book projects focused on individual differences in organizational contexts and strategic renewal processes. Additionally, Dr. Tuncdogan is involved with the King's AI Institute and the King's Cybersecurity Centre, and he is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He aims to enhance pedagogical practices in business education and explores innovative teaching techniques in his contributions to academic literature.
