Aylin Seçkin graduated from Bogaziçi University with a degree in Economics in 1991. She received her Master's degree in European Economics from Université Libre de Bruxelles under the Jean Monnet scholarship in 1992 and completed her PhD in Economics at Carleton University, Canada, in 1999. Prof. Seçkin has worked at various prestigious institutions including Cirano Research Center and Mount Allison University in Canada before returning to Turkey in 2001 to join the Faculty of Economics at Bilgi University, where she was awarded a Professorship in 2015. Prof. Seçkin has experience teaching courses such as Trade Theory and Sports Economics and is currently a faculty member at the Business School of Lausanne, along with being the International Representative for Yildiz Teknopark at Yildiz Technical University.
