Dr. Ayman El Ansary

Biography

Ayman El Ansary is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Western University. His research interests lie primarily in the field of civil engineering, focusing on the design, analysis, and sustainability of infrastructure systems. El Ansary has held various academic positions, including Associate Chair for Graduate Research Programs, and has acted as Department Chair. He coordinates the Master of Engineering Program and has been recognized for his exceptional teaching contributions with several awards, including the R. Mohan Mathur Award for Excellence in Teaching. He has also contributed to professional engineering practice as a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario and actively serves on several committees related to civil engineering. His educational background includes a Ph.D. from the University of Western Ontario, as well as Master's and Bachelor's degrees from Alexandria University. Ayman's commitment to both teaching and research is evident through his published works and professional involvement in several engineering societies.
