Dr. Azadeh Babaghaderi

Biography

Azadeh Babaghaderi is an Assistant Professor in Finance at the University of Windsor's Odette School of Business. She completed her Ph.D. in Finance at Concordia University in 2021, after earning her M.B.A. from the University of Northern Iowa in 2012 and M.Sc. from Shahid Beheshti University in Iran in 2008. She also holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Shahid Beheshti University, which she obtained in 2005. Babaghaderi's research interests encompass a range of topics including corporate restructuring, spinoffs, corporate governance, transparency, stakeholder communication, and real estate sustainability. She is also engaged in research related to corporate social responsibility and environmental issues within corporate finance. Her work on executive compensation integrates various aspects of corporate governance and fiscal responsibility. Babaghaderi has contributed to several publications, where she has explored topics related to corporate communication mechanisms, fuzzy inference systems in cloud manufacturing, and analysis of pension risks. Her scholarly work aims to advance understanding in the fields of finance and governance, shedding light on critical issues in today's economic climate.
