Biography

B. Keegan Markhardt is a Clinical Professor in the Community Division of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He practices radiology with a special interest in bone and joint imaging. He joined the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2010. Prior to his faculty position, he received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with honors and a Bachelor's in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He obtained his medical degree from the same institution and completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center in New York, followed by a Fellowship in Osteoradiology at the University of California-San Diego. Currently, Dr. Markhardt serves as the Medical Director for 1 South Park Medical Imaging and is the modality chief for CT and Musculoskeletal Section as well as radiography and fluoroscopy in the Community Division. He is actively involved in the UW Radiology Professional Practice Committee and the UW Radiation Safety Device Committee. His professional interests also encompass sports medicine, osteoarthritis, arthritides, 3D printing, and the optimization of procedural standardization and reporting.
