Professor B. Tekinerdogan is a computer scientist with over 25 years of experience in software and systems engineering, as well as information technology. He earned his MSc degree in 1994 and PhD in 2000 in Computer Science from the University of Twente, Netherlands. Following his tenure as a faculty member at the University of Twente from 2003 to 2008, he has served at Bilkent University since 2015, where he founded and led the Bilkent Software Engineering Group, promoting software engineering research and education in Turkey. As an educator, he has developed and taught about 20 academic courses and has provided specialized training to over 50 companies across multiple countries. He has supervised more than 80 MSc and 25 PhD students, and regularly reviews for over 20 international journals.
