Biography

Bailey K. Sanders is a legal scholar at Duke University whose work examines market competition and the advancement of gender equality, emphasizing the critical role of women’s representation in law and politics. Tjoflat on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and practiced in the antitrust group at McDermott & Emery in Washington, D.C., where she advised clients in the healthcare, pharmacy benefit management, and construction materials sectors on merger reviews, investigations, and complex litigation. At Duke Law School, she teaches and writes in areas such as antitrust, consumer protection, business associations, and morally contested markets.
