Dr. Baishakhi Ray

Biography

Baishakhi Ray is an Associate Professor at the Data Science Institute, Columbia University. Her research focuses on testing and debugging large-scale real-world systems, ranging from traditional logic-based systems to modern AI-driven systems such as self-driving cars and malware detection tools. She develops novel program analysis techniques to analyze existing system properties and apply advanced machine learning models to learn necessary properties. The models are utilized to automate the development, testing, debugging, and fixing processes for real-world large-scale software systems.
