Biography

Bani Anvari received his Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering from the University of Science and Culture in Iran in 2008. He completed his Master of Science (MSc) in Advanced Architectural Studies at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, in 2009. His PhD research at Imperial College London was focused on developing a new microscopic model simulation for shared space schemes, which he completed in 2013. Anvari worked as a Research Associate at the Transport Risk Management Centre within Imperial College London from 2016 to 2017, where he contributed to research projects funded by the Lloyd's Register Foundation. Subsequently, he joined the University of Southampton as a Lecturer in Intelligent Mobility within the Transport Research Group (TRG) from November 2016 until January 2018. Since January 29, 2018, he has held the position of Lecturer in Intelligent Mobility at the Centre for Transport Studies, part of the Department of Civil, Environmental & Geomatic Engineering at University College London.
