Dr. Barbara Ehrlich

Biography

Barbara Ehrlich is a Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at Yale University, specializing in Cellular and Molecular Physiology. She has a rich academic background with a PhD from the University of California at Los Angeles and extensive post-doctoral research at esteemed institutions including the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the Marine Biological Laboratory. Her research interests are mainly focused on the mechanisms of calcium transport and its implications in drug-related side effects and adverse reactions, as well as its role in Polycystic Kidney Diseases. Ehrlich leads a laboratory dedicated to advancing the understanding of calcium channels and their physiological significance.
