Biography

Barbara Ehrlich is a Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at Yale School of Medicine. With a PhD from the University of California at Los Angeles, she has contributed significantly to the understanding of calcium channels and their implications in drug-related side effects and adverse reactions. Her research spans various areas within pharmacology and physiology, with notable interest in polycystic kidney diseases. Barbara has been recognized with several awards, including the K.S. Cole Award for Excellence in Membrane Biophysics from Yale and the Margaret Oakley Dayhoffer Award from the Biophysical Society.
