Biography

Barbara Young is an Assistant Professor of Interior Design in the Patti & Rusty Rueff School of Design, Art, and Performance at Purdue University. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Indiana University. As a registered Interior Designer in the state of Indiana, she is also a LEED Accredited Professional and NCIDQ-certified. Her professional experience includes designing commercial and educational environments. With extensive teaching experience at Purdue University, the University of Kentucky, and Indiana University, she has held roles as a senior lecturer and educator in the field.
