Baris Fidan is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo, with cross appointments in the Department of System Design Engineering and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He holds a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, a Master’s degree from Bilkent University, and a Bachelor's degree from Middle East Technical University.
