Başak Aydemir is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information and Computing Sciences at Utrecht University. A member of the Software Production Group, her research focuses on requirements engineering, specifically applying techniques from natural language processing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to address requirements engineering challenges and enhance the quality of software engineering processes and products.
