Biography

Dr. Beatrice Im is a board-certified Obstetrician Gynecologist and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History from Columbia University in 1999 and received her M.D. from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in 2003. Dr. Im completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Weill Cornell Medical Center. During her residency, she taught at Bugando Medical Center and Weill-Bugando University College of Health Sciences in Mwanza, Tanzania, where she worked closely with local students and residents to improve emergency obstetrical care. Upon returning to the United States, Dr. Im further developed her expertise in female reproductive health care access. She currently practices as Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology at Weill Cornell Medicine and as Assistant Attending Obstetrician Gynecologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Im is experienced in various areas, including contraceptive care, general OB/GYN, and international medicine, and her work involves running educational programs and fostering collaboration within her field.
