Biography

Becky Ashlock is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing, University of California, Davis. She specializes in the DNP-Nurse Anesthesia program and has a clinical focus on obstetric anesthesia, particularly caring for parturients with high-risk conditions. Her research interests center around equitable and linguistically appropriate care for parturients. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern California, a Master of Science in Nursing Anesthesia from the Kaiser School of Anesthesia, and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from California State University, Fullerton. Ashlock is currently completing her PhD in Nursing at Texas Woman's University, and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) and the California Association of Nurse Anesthetists (CANA), as well as Sigma Theta Tau. Additionally, she serves as the President-Elect of the Kaiser Permanente Nurse Anesthetists Association (KPNAA).
