Biography

Ben Phillips has over 20 years of experience in economic public policy analysis in Australia. His expertise focuses on the development of microsimulation models for analyzing tax transfer systems. With broad experience in economic modeling and public policy statistics, Ben has worked for a decade at the National Centre for Social and Economic Modelling (NATSEM) where he was responsible for the STINMOD model of the Australian tax transfer system and undertook analysis across various areas, including the introduction of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and carbon price analysis.
