Biography

Dr. Benedict Albensi is a professor of pharmacology and therapeutics at Max Rady College of Medicine and a principal investigator at St. Boniface Hospital Research Centre. His research primarily focuses on aging, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, brain injury, and energy metabolism, particularly the role of NF-kB in inflammation and memory. Dr. Albensi's contributions have led to significant advancements in the development of new therapies for neurodegenerative conditions. He has been recognized as a leader in his field, with numerous awards and a notable publication record in top-ranked scientific journals.
