Dr. Benjamin Gregg

Biography

Benjamin G. Gregg is a Professor in the Department of Government at the University of Texas at Austin and holds a visiting professor role at the Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics, University of Oxford. With a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the Free University of Berlin and a Ph.D. in Political Science from Princeton University, he has published extensively on topics related to Democracy, Rule of Law, Human Rights, Political Theory, Social Theory, Bioethics, and Genetic Manipulation of Humans. He has authored four influential books and over 40 peer-reviewed articles, engaging in profound discussions on moral and political sciences. A recipient of multiple awards including the Humanities Research Award and the Silver Spurs Fellowship from the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Texas at Austin, he has highlighted crucial human rights issues across global platforms.
