Benjamin Lulich, clarinet, joined the faculty of the University of Washington School of Music in the Fall of 2016 as an artist-in-residence in the instrumental performance program. As Principal Clarinet with the Seattle Symphony and Seattle Opera, he has held positions with various prestigious orchestras including Orange County’s Pacific Symphony, Kansas City Symphony, and Colorado Music Festival. He has performed with renowned ensembles such as the Cleveland Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and Pasadena Symphony. Notably, he performed at the Hollywood Studio Orchestra contributing to several films and award-winning scores. Lulich was a featured soloist at prestigious events including Yamaha’s 125th Anniversary Concert and has participated as a guest artist in chamber music across the United States and internationally. He is a member of the Instrumental Unit, a contemporary music ensemble based in New York City, and has taken part in concerts at Carnegie Hall. Lulich has received numerous awards and studied at several music institutions with distinguished teachers.
